M2M Zone, Seminar Make Debut at CeBIT 2010


Today in Hannover, Germany, a ICT technologists from around the globe prepare for the opening of CeBIT 2010, which begins Tuesday morning. For the first time, the Telematics hall will feature leading M2M service providers, including Telenor Connexion, Orange, Telefónica/O2, and KPN.

The M2M Zone, situated in the heart of Destination ITS will also host a seminar on Thursday, 4 March, which will include presentations from Telenor, KPN, Cinterion Wireless Modules, and SkyWave. The seminar will begin at 2:00 PM in Hall 7, room A46, with an introduction by M2M Zone's cohost, the M2M Alliance, followed by an overview of M2M standardization efforts by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
